Capture
Seven ways in: region, window (point at it, or pick from a list under More), full screen, last-used region, an image from the clipboard, copy text straight off the screen, or a scrolling capture.
Open section →Windows screen capture
A tiny capture tool that sleeps in your system tray and turns any slice of your screen into a clean, annotated, shareable image.
What it is
MycoCap has no main window. It lives in the notification area, wakes on a hotkey, and hands you three things: fast capture, a real annotation editor, and one-click sharing.
History, OCR, redaction, export pipelines and scripting are all there when you reach for them — and quiet when you don't.

Open section →Arrows, lines, shapes with corner-radius rectangles, text, speech bubbles, step labels, highlighter, freehand, emoji and crop on a tool strip beside the canvas — plus blur covers, a solid irreversible Redact, align and group, and an element list that can hide or lock each annotation.
Open section →The post-capture toast lands with Open in editor, Copy and Save as file; More holds the extra actions for the current destination, such as Cover sensitive text, Upload and Close. Editor export adds file, clipboard, printer, email, webhook and a Windows share target.
Open section →Capture history holds up to 100 grabs once you tick “Keep a history of recent captures” in the first-run wizard — it starts unticked. Search it, reopen it as a flat image, pin it past the rolling limit or upload it again.
Open section →No telemetry, ever. MycoCap touches the network only for update checks, diagnostics you explicitly export, destinations you explicitly choose, and remote images referenced by pasted or dragged content — fetched only after a per-paste consent prompt. EXIF and GPS metadata are stripped on export by default and orientation is baked into the pixels. Webhook, email and Windows share destinations show a review dialog before anything leaves the machine (when the review step is on, the default).
